Feature: Standard Library

One baseline standard. Every client measured the same way.

Ten fixed categories, 146 settings, one alignment score, so "good" means the same thing whether you're looking at one client or fifty.

The problem

Without a fixed baseline, nothing is comparable

Most MSPs assess clients against whatever a given engineer considers best practice that week. One site gets a thorough review, another gets a quick once-over, and there's no way to say client A is better aligned than client B, because they were never measured against the same yardstick.

Alignment by category example: ten categories scored matched, accepted and deviation, rolled up to an overall alignment percentage

Example output from a demo account, not a real customer's data.

How it works

Ten categories, 146 settings, one score

Every client is measured against the same fixed baseline, split into ten categories covering the full IT estate. Each individual setting is scored Matched, Accepted (a documented exception) or Deviation, rolled up into one overall alignment percentage.

  • User Awareness & Training, Business Continuity & Resilience, Servers & Infrastructure
  • Data Protection & Backup, Identity & Access, Computers & Devices
  • Network & Connectivity, IT Documentation & Records, Cyber Security & Threat Protection, Email & Collaboration
  • Every setting scored Matched / Accepted / Deviation, rolled into one % aligned

The outcome

Comparable scores, and a trend you can prove

Because every client is measured against the same baseline, you can genuinely compare accounts, spot the ones falling behind, and show month-on-month or quarter-on-quarter improvement with real numbers, not just "it feels more secure now."

  • Directly comparable alignment scores across your whole client base
  • Every deviation becomes a line item in TAM Reports and the vCIO Report
  • Improvement is provable over time, not anecdotal
